Expectations
- A portfolio of short form video content such as Reels, TikTok, or Shorts, ideally with your own channel or gaming related work
- Strong proficiency with video editing tools such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut, DaVinci, or CapCut
- Understanding of gaming culture, humor, and the pace of online games, at the level of an active player
- Willingness to actively play the game, understand its mechanics, and independently find engaging content
- Basic skills in audio editing, color correction, captions, and simple motion elements
- Ability to consistently deliver three to five videos per week without compromising quality
- Results driven mindset, with the ability to analyze metrics and adjust approach when content underperforms
- Openness to feedback and the ability to iterate quickly without losing motivation
- Experience creating content for Instagram Gaming, TikTok Gaming, or gaming brands
- Hands on experience with AI tools for video production such as Runway, Kling, or similar
- Playing OneState, recording gameplay, and identifying highlights, funny moments, fails, and story driven situations, this is a core part of the role
- Editing vertical short form videos for TikTok, Reels, and YouTube Shorts, with fast cuts, dynamic pacing, and strong hooks in the first one to three seconds
- Adding captions, subtitles, emojis, stickers, sound effects, and music according to brand guidelines
- Adapting videos for different platforms based on format, duration, and platform requirements
- Optimizing content for retention, clickability, and engagement by analyzing performance and adjusting approach when needed
- Tracking trends in gaming TikTok and Reels, including transitions, audio, and visual patterns, and quickly testing new formats
- Suggesting content ideas and hypotheses such as series, meme videos, character edits, and challenges
- Using AI tools in the production process where they improve speed and efficiency
