Expectations

What we want to see
  • Experience editing vertical short form content for Reels, TikTok, and Shorts, with a portfolio. Ability to publish content consistently, around three to five videos per week
  • Confident work with video editors such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut, DaVinci, CapCut, or similar tools
  • Understanding of gaming culture, humor, shooters and online games
  • Willingness to actively play the game, understand its mechanics, and spot moments with strong storytelling potential
  • Basic skills in audio editing, color correction, captions, and simple motion graphics elements
     
Additionally, it would be great to have
  • Experience creating content for Instagram Gaming, TikTok Gaming, streams, or gaming brands
     
What you will be doing
  • Playing OneState, recording gameplay, and spotting highlights, funny moments, fails, and story twists
  • Editing vertical videos in Reels, Shorts, and TikTok formats with fast cuts, dynamic pacing, and strong hooks in the first one to three seconds
  • Adding titles, subtitles, emojis, stickers, sound effects, and music according to brand guidelines
  • Adapting videos for different platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts, with the right length, format, and requirements
  • Suggesting series ideas and content hypotheses, including challenges, meme videos, character edits, and recurring formats
  • Working closely with SMM and marketing teams to align video formats with campaign goals, events, and update releases
  • Optimizing videos for retention and completion rate, clickability through thumbnails and opening seconds, and engagement through comments and shares
  • Tracking trends in gaming Reels and TikTok, including transitions, audio tracks, and visual patterns, and quickly testing new formats
