Expectations

What you will be doing
  • Leading a team of developers and building transparent, efficient development processes
  • Driving talent management initiatives, including hiring, onboarding, mentoring, and supporting the professional growth of team members
  • Developing and evolving core and meta gameplay systems
  • Maintaining code quality through refactoring, optimization, bug fixing, and regular code reviews
  • Participating in task decomposition, technical design, estimation, and feature level technical decision making
     
What we want to see
  • Five plus years of commercial experience developing mobile games with Unity and C#
  • Experience leading a development team of five to ten engineers
  • Hands on experience with employee development and evaluation frameworks such as performance reviews, PDPs, and 360 assessments
  • Proven experience conducting technical interviews and hiring specialists, with the ability to grow teams in line with business needs
  • Deep understanding of software architecture patterns and approaches, including solid experience with Dependency Injection
  • Strong experience with collaborative development practices, including Git, code reviews, and working confidently with existing codebases
  • Basic understanding of multiplayer architecture and client server interaction principles
  • Fluent Russian
Additionally, it would be great to have
  • Experience with ECS frameworks such as Morpeh, LeoECS, Entitas, or DOTS
  • Understanding of Unity’s physics systems, including collisions, rigidbodies, triggers, and behavior configuration
  • Experience developing for desktop platforms
  • Experience with performance optimization and profiling
