Expectations
- 5–7+ years of commercial experience as an Animator;
- Strong proficiency in Blender;
- Deep understanding of classical animation principles, human anatomy, and movement mechanics;
- Experience creating realistic character animation;
- Experience with body animation and facial animation;
- Experience working with blend shapes, character rigs, motion capture animation, and AI-assisted animation tools;
- Experience cleaning up and polishing motion capture data;
- Experience with animation retargeting;
- Strong understanding of timing, weight, balance, and movement dynamics;
- Understanding of cinematic storytelling through animation;
- Experience working on realistic CGI or cinematic projects.
- Experience collaborating with motion capture studios;
- Experience participating in motion capture shoots;
- Understanding of facial capture pipelines;
- Experience working with facial capture data;
- Experience with camera animation;
- Experience with Adobe Premiere Pro and Adobe After Effects.
- Create high-quality, realistic character animations for CGI videos and cinematics;
- Produce body and facial animations for characters;
- Work with blend shapes and facial rigs;
- Work with character rigs;
- Polish and improve existing animations;
- Create hand-keyed animation when required;
- Animate character interactions with other characters and the environment;
- Create vehicle animations;
- Animate cameras for cinematic sequences;
- Prepare animations for final rendering.
