Expectations
- Proven experience in commercial narrative development for mobile and/or PC games
- Strong knowledge of U.S. culture and urbanism
- Ability to create engaging and coherent in-game locations with strong attention to detail
- Ability to communicate ideas clearly and concisely, both in documentation and verbally; strong attention to detail
- Extensive gaming experience in open-world projects
- Conversational English
- Develop the narrative layer of locations and ensure world consistency based on the game’s lore
- Introduce changes, improvements, and new elements to the game’s lore in collaboration with game designers
- Work closely with the Game Design team on route design and quest chains
- Conduct in-depth research on U.S. culture and urban environments; produce documentation for artists based on findings
- Collaborate closely with art, level design, and sound design teams on location development; create tasks/specifications and ensure alignment with the urban logic of the respective city
- Analyze current map locations and propose improvements
