Expectations

What we want to see
  • Full ownership experience of the audio direction for a game project
  • Experience leading sound designers
  • Experience working with FMOD, ideally in combination with Unity
  • Experience using Git or other version control systems on large scale projects
  • Practical experience with DAWs such as Ableton or similar tools
  • Experience organizing and managing large volumes of audio files within a project
  • Deep understanding of sound design and audio production workflows
  • Understanding of mixing and mastering processes, with the ability to choose appropriate solutions for different voiceover and sound tasks
Additionally, it would be great to have
  • Experience working on 3D multiplayer projects with voice chat and spatial audio systems
  • Experience optimizing audio for mobile platforms such as iOS and Android
  • Experience with iZotope and Sound Forge tools
  • Conversational English for working with an international team
What you will be doing
  • Defining, owning, and documenting the project’s audio vision
  • Managing a sound designer and building the audio department
  • Collaborating with external composers to create original music for the game
  • Working hands on in the engine and audio tools to implement sound effects and music
  • Selecting and licensing tracks and sound assets, and integrating them into the project
  • Optimizing audio content for different platforms and ensuring consistent quality
