Expectations

What we want to see
  • QA experience: 5+ years, including 3+ years managing teams of 25+ people
  • Proven track record of shipping mobile products as a QA lead (preferably RPG / MMO / live ops titles)
  • Experience building QA strategy and managing quality at the product level
  • Solid understanding of testing methodologies — enough to provide expert guidance and make strategic decisions
  • Experience defining and tracking quality metrics (defect leakage, crash rate, regression time, SLA)
  • Risk management skills and involvement in product roadmap planning
  • Experience partnering with producers and tech leads in a 300+ person company
  • Working knowledge of Agile practices
  • Gamer background (being a fan of MMO RPG is a huge plus)
Additionally, it would be great to have
  • Hands-on experience with Unity and gamedev tooling (automation in a Unity environment)
  • Background in gamedev: MMO / RP / live ops projects
  • Experience with CI/CD
  • Shipped multiple game titles as a test lead
What you will be doing
  • Define and drive QA strategy for the flagship title
  • Own quality at the product level: set standards, track key metrics, manage risk
  • Lead test estimation and planning for complex features and systems in close collaboration with development
  • Recruit, coach, develop, and manage a QA team of 25+ people
  • Partner with producers and tech leads; serve as the expert voice on quality across the organization
  • Optimize QA processes and drive adoption of automation tooling
  • Contribute to roadmap planning and shape quality requirements at the product level
  • Be ready to roll up your sleeves when the project or team situation calls for it
