Expectations

What we want to see
  • Experience leading an animation department and owning the full production cycle
  • Deep understanding of realistic animation and experience adapting it for mobile, PC, and console platforms
  • Strong technical expertise, including state machines, blending, retargeting, and IK/FK
  • Ability to create and maintain living animation style guides
  • Experience building teams and working with outsourcing partners, including selection, task assignment, and quality control
  • A pragmatic approach to quality within budget and timeline constraints, focusing on cost versus value
  • Willingness to relocate to one of our offices in Serbia, Kazakhstan, or Cyprus
Additionally, it would be great to have
  • Experience working with motion capture and post processing
  • Active use of modern tools and AI to optimize production processes
  • Strong industry networking and the ability to attract external experts
What you will be doing
  • Defining and defending the project’s animation vision
  • Building scalable systems and growing the team while ensuring autonomy and professional development
  • Establishing and enforcing animation quality standards across all platforms
  • Optimizing the animation pipeline and introducing new tools and approaches
  • Acting as a key partner for production, art direction, and technical teams
