Expectations
- Experience leading an animation department and owning the full production cycle
- Deep understanding of realistic animation and experience adapting it for mobile, PC, and console platforms
- Strong technical expertise, including state machines, blending, retargeting, and IK/FK
- Ability to create and maintain living animation style guides
- Experience building teams and working with outsourcing partners, including selection, task assignment, and quality control
- A pragmatic approach to quality within budget and timeline constraints, focusing on cost versus value
- Willingness to relocate to one of our offices in Serbia, Kazakhstan, or Cyprus
- Experience working with motion capture and post processing
- Active use of modern tools and AI to optimize production processes
- Strong industry networking and the ability to attract external experts
- Defining and defending the project’s animation vision
- Building scalable systems and growing the team while ensuring autonomy and professional development
- Establishing and enforcing animation quality standards across all platforms
- Optimizing the animation pipeline and introducing new tools and approaches
- Acting as a key partner for production, art direction, and technical teams

A closing conversation with a hiring manager or team lead. We’ll discuss the outcomes of the previous stages, cover any remaining questions, and align on expectations.
If everything goes well — we’ll extend a job offer. Once the details are confirmed, we’ll guide you through the onboarding process and welcome you to the team.
